Welcome!
Hello and welcome to the newest test prep blog on the internet. My name is Anthony Ritz, and I am the founder and owner of Parallax Test Prep. As you may have seen elsewhere on the site, I’m an expert tutor with 10+ years of experience, an across-the-board 99th-percentile test taker, and an all-around nerd. I’ll be posting a new discussion here once a week or so, with my primary focus being test tips to help you, the student, score higher.
Most weeks, my discussion will address the LSAT. Some weeks, I’ll tackle a tricky question from an old LSAT. Other weeks, I’ll discuss a broad topic that I see LSAT-takers struggle with on a regular basis. I’ll also dip into other tests including the GMAT, the GRE, the SAT, and the ACT. I use the current-version official resources for each test as my sources for discussion questions. I’ll even do a bit of high school- and college-level math and physics from time to time. If you would like to have your question answered, send me an email or post a reply in the comments.
Moving beyond test prep, I might talk a little about the law school experience, from the perspective of someone who went through it at a top-15 school. I’m also a fan of logic puzzles, so I’ll probably weave in a few of those just for fun. Plus, I’ll keep you apprised of important testing news (test dates and deadlines, admissions timelines, and so forth) as it arises.
If on balance that sounds like something you’d be interested in, then you should read this blog! (I→R, for those of you wanting to get a head start on formal logic.) And if that doesn’t sound like something you’d be interested in, then you should still read this blog. …And if you think that sounds like a contradiction, then you might really *need* to read this blog! Bookmark liberally, tell your friends, and read on for posts with ACTUAL CONTENT.
Thank you.
